Louise has helped my daughter enormously in preparation for her A level history, she is thorough, organised and gives comprehensive explanations which has helped my daughter who is dyslexic understand the content better. She has also helped her with exam techniques

My daughter needed some help with History A-level as school seem to wizz through too quickly with some topics. Louise provided loads of useful materials and my daughter started to worry much less about History after a few sessions. The jump from GCSE to Alevel can seem very daunting at times and Louise has been a great help with keeping up with the process.

Louise, has been tutoring my daughter for the past few months - I can truly say that she has been fantastic. She has supported, listened, helped her gain confidence, and clarified the content of what she is trying to learn. She has given my daughter the belief that she can sit her A levels and that she is doing ok, something which her school appear to be un able to help with!!

Louise is amazing! My son lost a lot of confidence and knowledge over the lockdowns. Louise boosted both so that he went into the exams as prepared as possible. Louise is kind, knowledgeable and very thorough. She is also brilliant with teenagers and gets the best out of the them. My son really enjoyed the sessions.

If anyone is looking for a GCSE or A level history tutor, I can highly recommend Louise. She shares her passion for her subject in an engaging and focused way. My daughter  has thoroughly enjoyed her sessions with Louise, so much so, she has decided  to take up A level history  in September and will continue with Louise.

Louise has made a difference to my daughter after only a couple of sessions. Her communication is excellent and she was very well prepared for the lessons. As my daughter put it - she "really knows her stuff!". During the corona virus outbreak Louise has been in touch and offered online support which is working well. She has also provided my daughter with useful supportive material. A highly recommended tutor.

Louise taught my daughter A level history over half term in preparation for exams in May/June and the insight she provided was a real confidence booster. She knew what resource material to provide for problem areas and explained techniques on how to answer exam questions. Louise is a great tutor. She is calm, sometimes lively, and punctual for all her lessons.

Have only had a handful of sessions with Louise, which is why I cannot give a full 5 stars yet. So far Louise has been very helpful in guiding my son towards his A level exams. The proof will be in his mock exams! However, Louise is a lovely person and my son gets on well with her and finds her helpful in his subject.

Louise has been tutoring my son during his last year of A levels and what a difference it has made! Louise is very professional, has a great depth of knowledge and is a fantastic tutor. Louise has made a tremendous difference to our daughter. She had supported and motivated her during the year and helped greatly. Our daughter has since worked hard and was enjoying the work and her confidence was steadily increasing. Louise was therefore instrumental when our daughter achieved her A in history.

We would like to say a big thank you! Louise is a very professional tutor and a nice person to deal with. Our son was preparing for Winchester College entrance exams and he needed some help particularly with revision in History. Even though Louise didn’t know much about the expectations of the school, and moreover we had just 2 weeks for preparation, she did her best with teaching our son. As a result that came out as a success! Our son was offered a place and we can’t be more happier!

Louise has been really great for our son`s History A level. She has been able to give him a better understanding of the topics as well as going out of her way to provide him with tips on how to deal with particular questions (and dropping off books that could help him!). We have no hesitation in recommending Louise.

Apart from being very accommodating with timings, punctual etc, Louise really brought the topics alive that my daughter had been struggling with. She provided extra resources for my daughter to use, and really taught around the subject, making it more interesting. She was also able to give good insight as to the level my daughter was working at which was very useful. Louise is also a really fun, lively and lovely lady - I wouldn`t hesitate to recommend her. My husband who was occasionally sat in the other room, also enjoyed the lessons! Great teacher. :)

My daughter has been working with Louise for the last 9 months in preparation for her A level. Louise immediately understood what was required and struck up a brilliant working relationship with my daughter. She was able to support not only in the exam subjects but also in the coursework, going out of her way to provide additional resources when required. She was very flexible and found ways of getting my daughter to think around and delve deeper into the topics. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Louise is amazing, my son needed a boost and Louise was definitely the person to give it to him. She is enthusiastic, she makes history fun and she gives him homework, which he actually enjoys doing. I now have faith that he will do really well in History and it is down to Louise. If anyone is looking for a tutor, she is totally your lady.

My daughter found the transition from GCSE very difficult and especially for history. Louise set a plan of work that dove tailed with the school and helped to develop essay writing skills. My daughter's grades improved drastically.
